Working on La Sirena

Today I was working on my newest painting, "La Sirena". I drew her up a long time ago, and I have been meaning to paint her. The painting is pretty small. I think the canvas might be about 4x6 or it might be 3x5. I have to measure it.

I wanted to add little fish, add flowers to her hair, and have her hold a special sea shell she found. I need to work on some more details, but she is almost finished. As soon as she is, I will be creating glossy postcards of her. Just in time for the warmer weather.

Thanks for stopping by!

Peace and Love,

Newesting Painting: Native American Girl

I finished my newest painting of a young girl. I have always been drawn to the Native American culture. I wanted to paint a small painting with a Native American theme. So I painted this young girl in the woods to represent their beliefs in originating from trees.

She is available as a postcard and print.

Newest Painting and Works in Progress..

I am currently working on two scenes that are inspired by the Cholitas and their children of Bolivia. The painting above is of a little child hanging from a shawl wrapped around the mother.

And the painting above is of a Cholita and I am going to have her wearing a bright and colorful shawl.

I finished this colorful cholita holding her coca leaves.

I put small houses on the mountains and Mt. Illimani behind her.

Stayed tune for the little child and other cholita painting to be finished.

I am also working on some more skull art.
Thanks for stopping by!!!

Ornaments and Hanging Art

Though I made these for the holidays to hang as ornaments, I am now using them as all year round art. I hung a few around the house and decided to hang a few on the walls and they look great!
I won't be making more until next Christmas, I have a similiar one in the Etsy shop: Click here
